Use headlines and key words to get brides to your blog
So I’m not an expert on SEO and I’m not going to pretend to be, but yesterday I told you we were going to dive into using headlines and key words properly to drive lots of quality leads to your site… and that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Because you can start doing this today without being an expert too to increase your exposure and qualified bridal leads in your wedding business!
Woo hooooo!!
Now of course, you can always get help from an SEO guru to seriously boost your stats, but I’m going to give you simple ways to see a difference just like I have over the years. Especially if you’re not a techie kind of person (like me).
This is a really big key to get you flexing your online marketing to brides muscle!
First, let’s discuss headlines.
The first rule in creating your headlines to get more brides is to make it juicy enough to want to read your article, watch your video, or look at the pictures. Always make the subject (or headline) exciting enough to want to click it and always tie it to a result.
For example – A so-so headline would be something like, “Are your future in-laws annoying you?” and a result-driven, exciting headline would go more like, “5 ways to get your future in-laws to stop driving you insane while planning your wedding”.
The rule of thumb I always use is for me to ask myself, “If I was going through emails or cruising online, would I stop to click and read?” If no – your headline stinks. If yes – slam dunk!
Now with keywords.
Again, I’m not getting techie, but if you also don’t understand how to do SEO on steroids, but you still want to see a bump in traffic, there are a few simple things you can start doing immediately. Search engines just love blogs because the information is always fresh … and basically that makes search engines happy. So post frequently enough that you keep the search engines happy as well as brides following your blog.
Also, integrate words throughout in a way that makes sense according to what you do and what you provide. So, using geographical words with cities you serve most is smart. Using keywords that your brides are typing in that make them find people like you is also imperative.
If you don’t know where to begin, you can use a tool like SpyFu.com to find out how brides are finding your competitors and start using those keywords throughout your own posts.
Try out these tools and see how brides will find you online a lot faster!
Make more money with that blog!!

Use your blog to get tons of bridal leads
![]() |
Did you know that you can actually use your blog to get tons of bridal leads?
Many of you are constantly freaking out about where your quality leads are going to come from, and so you only rely on bridal shows and ad-driven sites to feed you the leads. But you honestly must do much more than that to have constant traffic from brides who actually want to buy from you.
But in order to do this, you must have a blog that really works for you. Over the next few days, I’m going to give you some tips to start changing the way you use your blog to actually drive quality traffic to your site, come up top on Google and also build your very own quality lead list.
The first thing I want to emphasize is that you need to have quality content on your blog.
This can come in a few forms:
1. Write articles to give brides tips, secrets, and how to’s. Make your articles somewhere in the neighborhood of 300-500 words. Include a lot of the why of the problem they’re trying to solve and what is causing it, and a small part of the how. In other words, don’t give away all your secrets for free.
2. Share ideas and inspiration. Create wedding boards with ideas much like you can on Pinterest. This can be color combo suggestions, ideas of formality, intimate affairs, garden gatherings, and so on with tips and visual help.
3. Record and share video how to’s from time to time. This can even include you talking in front of your computer giving tips just so brides can get a feel for your personality, and see that you’re a real person. It doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, it can even be an article you’ve written previously repurposed as a video!
4. Share real weddings. Remember that brides LOVE the real weddings sections of magazines and online media. This is for a reason. It gets them excited, inspired, and ready to plan their own day. Help them see that you can help them by sharing various real weddings. When brides see that you’ve had a part in a wedding that fits their taste too, they are more convinced that you can provide a service that is exactly what they need. Don’t be concerned that a bride may hate the look of a wedding you post (because we all know everyone is different), just know that this is a reason why you need to continually post weddings so that you will appeal to various tastes over time!
This is the first step in really getting tons of leads online just by using your blog. Tomorrow we’re gonna dive into your blog headlines and using keywords to make sure you’re showing up online easily over and over again!!
Get to posting,
Natalie

Want the secret to raising your rates? Expose yourself!
(Okay, so NOT literally as this picture would indicate … hang with me.)
If you’re like most of the wedding professionals we start working with, you’re probably getting a few good bookings here and there, sandwiched by a bunch of low-paying, high-maintenance ones that drain your energy and make you resent your business.
Well, can we just agree on something first? You deserve to get paid what you’re worth!
We are not big fans of working really hard for peanuts. We want you to work less and less…for a lot MORE.
But you can’t do that when you continue to position yourself the same way all your competitors are positioning themselves. Brides won’t know how you’re different and, therefore, they won’t want to pay top dollar to work with you.
If you want to charge lucrative fees, you have to find a way to expose your true self to your brides…so that they can clearly see why working with you would be so incredible.
And that’s why blogging is non-negotiable.
Your blog is a tool that allows you to position yourself differently from other providers. You can expose your personality, your talents, your style, your perspective…you can REALLY show couples the benefit of having you on their side. There is simply no other marketing tool that allows you to do this more effectively to a wide open public audience who are not already on your list.

Here’s why brides aren’t inquiring on your website
We hear it all the time: “People are always telling me how beautiful my website is, so why aren’t more brides contacting me?”
Well, there’s a reason for that.
Brides need to know you, like you and trust you….before they’ll invest in you.
If brides don’t know what makes you different, how you really are a true visionary or why they can count on you to get the job done better than anyone else, all the pretty
eye candy in the world won’t get them to fill in that form and schedule a consult.
You can’t expect brides to just land on your website, check out your packages and be ready to jump out of their seat and book you. It simply doesn’t work that way.
Weddings are one of the most emotional investments a couple will ever make in themselves. Which means that couples need to be emotionally vested in you before they will even consider bringing you in on their plans.
And it’s going to take a lot more than a bullet point list and a contact form to create that emotional connection.
That’s why you can’t make the mistake of viewing your blog as just another stale marketing tactic that you’re aimlessly continuing to do because someone once told you that you should.
You need to breathe life into your wedding blog and use it to create a strong emotional connection with your readers. Because once you do that, readers will turn into genuine leads who will turn into legitimate inquiries who will turn into high paying clients.

Use compound interest to attract more brides
Sounds silly, I know. But hear us out…
If you’ve ever opened up an IRA or 401k, you know that compound interest is that awesome thing that makes your savings explode super fast because you’re earning interest on your interest. You start out with $10,000, but in no time, you start earning interest on $11,000…then $12,000…and beyond, because your interest keeps getting added to your principle and the stash gets bigger. It just keeps piling on.
Well, the same concept works when marketing your wedding business.
You might be able to reach 100 brides directly with your marketing. But if 10 of those brides share you with 10 of their fellow engaged friends on social media, now your message is reaching double the brides! And you didn’t do a thing.
That is power in numbers. That’s what you call going viral.
But the problem is, most brides will not want to share your traditional marketing with other brides because they aren’t looking to be your walking advertisement. Especially if they haven’t decided to hire you yet.
They aren’t going to scan and upload your business card. They probably won’t tell everyone you’ll be at an upcoming bridal show. And they sure as heck aren’t going to plaster your magazine ad all over their profile.
But what they WILL share are irresistible tips, stories and inspiration…which can all be found on your wedding blog.
When you have a wedding blog that showers brides with the exact kind of inspiration, ideas and how-tos they’ve been searching for, they won’t be able to contain their excitement. It’s human nature. They’ll want to share what they’re considering for their wedding and ask their other engaged (or soon to be engaged) friends what they think.
Next thing you know, double the brides are checking you out too.
If what you want is a blog that goes viral so you can double your impact with the exact same level of effort, then join us for our upcoming class to find out why your blog isn’t going viral right now, so you can do fix it and start attracting more brides in high volume to your website.

Brides want results, not your services (even on your blog)
It seems obvious to market, advertise, and sell the obvious, but the obvious (to you) is not what your brides want to buy. Your brides are buying the results they desire. For example, brides don’t want a wedding planner, they want peace of mind. Brides don’t want a photographer, they want to see the story of their wedding to enjoy for decades to come. Brides don’t want a DJ, they want to see all their friends and families on the dance floor all night long having the best time ever!
Market the results. Market what brides get AS A RESULT of working with you. That’s all you need to focus on. This is what will make a bride want you, regardless of what you charge. When you write your blog articles, write from the “end result” point of you. What do your brides want in terms of inspiration, ideas, how-to’s and what not-to-do’s? Start there and work your way backward.
Get your brides all worked up about getting what they want through your blog so that they can easily see that YOU can be the one to provide it!
Dale Carnegie (in How to Win Friends and Influence People) calls this creating an “eager want” in your clients. Your sole responsibility is to figure out what brides want beyond the obvious. Determine what is the underlying motive that makes brides buy. Here’s a hint: ASK your brides what their biggest struggle is, what their biggest stressor is, and what it is that they want most for their wedding and, in particular, the services that YOU can provide to her.
Once you figure this out, you’ll know how to market, what to write on your blog about, and even how to close the sale to brides consistently in your target market! This one small piece of the marketing pie can be THE deal-changer for you and your company from today on.
So stop selling the drill and start selling the hole.

If you want more brides, just DO it already!
Many people just like you want more brides. Paying brides. And a lot of them. But the problem may be that you feel “stuck”.
You don’t know how to get brides’ attention. You don’t know what to say. And what about the competition?…I need to check on what THEY are doing first, right?
Enough already … today’s message is to just DO it!
Stop over thinking and stop looking at your competition every 5 seconds. THAT’S one BIG reason why you’re stuck. You’re over thinking and doing a whole lot of nothing in the process.
Use your blog to get a lot more high end (or even paying) brides in your business.
Your blog is your virtual stage. Treat it as such.
Say what you’re thinking. Inspire brides. Educate them. Guide them to wise and helpful decisions.
And when you’re stuck, use this very simple tool that has helped me for years….
Brainstorm ideas from two different places -
1. What really moves you and makes you beyond excited?
2. What really pisses you off?
Now ideas and articles, videos and more will come more easily from one of these two places. Don’t over think it. Just write. Share. Vlog!
This is what brides WANT to read and know from you … and in the process, you’ll help them fall in love with you and what you can teach them.

How did I get here?
Whether it’s about weight gain, a seriously strained business, or a failing relationship, I think most all of us have said to ourselves at one point or another, “How did I get here”?
In fact, last Monday as I started my new workout program with my husband (who is a strength and conditioning specialist), I found myself crying on the floor during a workout saying this. I just couldn’t believe how hard it was for me to do exercises that
used to be second nature.
And that’s when I had my a-ha moment that this was no different from clients who call me crying saying the same thing about their businesses and lack of clients.
The way we get “here” is through a series of decisions we make every single day.
Some decisions take us down a road of ease, satisfaction, love, health, and success.
And some decisions take us down a road of struggle, frustration, hate, anger, sickness, and failure.
But the power is always in the present. There is no situation or state of mind or being that cannot be undone.
And today, I’m reminded of this even more as I’ve lost inches in my hips, waist, legs, chest and arms in just 8 days by simply making the decision every single day to choose health. None of it was hard after that first day.
In fact, it’s been so easy, it almost doesn’t seem real.
Almost.
The same is true with your business.
It’s truly so simple to make $10k (or more) every single 30 days. All it involves is changing past behaviors, and making a series of decisions every single day that will change your life forever.
And today at 12noon Eastern, I will share with you what this looks like. Just make sure you’ve reserved your virtual seat for my webinar here –
http://10kevery30days.com/
Let’s get you on a healthier business plan! ; )
